Mindfulness is one of the most commonly used words in the world of meditation, but what does it actually mean? And how does engaging with it transform our experience, both inner and outer?

Many people believe meditation is about emptying the mind, silencing thoughts, or somehow stopping the mind from doing what it naturally does. But what if the pathway to inner stillness isn't through force, control, or pushing thoughts away in search of emptiness?

Topics covered:

✨ What is mindfulness?
✨ Emptiness vs fullness
✨ Shunya and Buddhist emptiness
✨ Why thoughts aren't the problem
✨ The true skill of meditation
✨ The power of the present moment
✨ Awareness, freedom & choice
✨ Mindfulness vs heartfulness
✨ The Nature of Pure Awareness
✨ Being present vs becoming

Mindfulness is not only a doorway into the miracle of our existence, but also a portal into deeper and more expansive states of awareness. Through presence, we begin to reclaim our freedom, reconnect with what matters most, and rediscover the sacredness and preciousness of life.

Oscar has a rare ability to take profound, often abstract wisdom and express it in a way that feels simple, precise, and deeply experiential. There’s a clarity in the way he speaks that cuts through confusion and brings you closer to the essence of the practice.

In this conversation, we explore the Vedic worldview… the laws of nature… the mechanics of the mind… and the art of letting go. We dive into what meditation actually is, what thoughts are, how stress is released, and how the practice gently leads us back to our natural state.

✨ In this episode, we cover:

00:29 Oscars Personal Relationship to Meditation

05:18 How the external world is nothing but a reflection of our internal world

07:55 What it means to be whole and complete

11:45 The three laws of nature

18:35 What are thoughts and where do thoughts come from?

23:44 What is the mind?

30:46 Why is connection to subtly so important?

33:31 Does consistency matter?

38:52 What is love?

If you’re curious about meditation, the nature of the mind, or how to access deeper states of rest and awareness without force... this conversation is for you.
Oscar’s way of articulating subtly makes meditation feel both accessible and profound, reminding us that what we’re searching for is already here.

In this talk, recorded from a corporate wellness event, I explore the 5 types of rest and why they’re essential for well-being and avoiding burnout.

Topics covered:
Why rest is more than just sleep — and why good sleep isn’t always restorative
The difference between “working out” and “working in”
The concept of Vital Rest
The 5 archetypes of Rest
The effect of a dysfunctional relationship with rest
The link between rest, energy, vitality, productivity, and long-term health
The warning signals of ignored rest
The truth that rest will always win

For rest to be most effective it needs to revive, restore and refill the parts of our lives we deplete regularly.

My hope is that in sharing this talk you are able to create a healthier and more effective relationship with rest that allows you to live the life you want to create.

In this episode Ash explores how stillness, awareness, and deeper self-understanding guide us toward Dharma; not as a fixed purpose, but as moment-to-moment right action in alignment with life.

Explore how the Vedic worldview reveals that life is always guiding us, through subtle signals, challenges, and synchronicities, toward greater harmony, healing, and expression of our unique place within the whole.

Topics covered:• The relationship between Dharma and Karma• What “right action” is and how it naturally arises• The difference between ego-driven action and aligned action• The three forces of nature: creation, maintenance, and destruction• Why destruction is a force for transformation, not something to fear• How joy and intuition act as signals guiding your path• The role of stillness in accessing deeper layers of awareness• The koshas and your inner navigation system• How synchronicity reflects alignment with life• Why Dharma is lived moment to moment, not planned in advance

Hopefully this episode helps you deepen your understanding of Dharma, and trust the ways life is guiding you toward it.

In this guided Yoga Nidra practice with Ash, you will be lead into deep rest and recovery through the Pancha Koshas, the layers of inner experieince from gross to subtle.

Think of this journey as moving through the layers of yourself:
from the physical body
to the breath and energy
to thoughts and emotions
to intuition and inner wisdom
and finally into deep rest and presence.

This practise has been created to help you nurture your relationship with yourself.

All you have to do is find a comfortable place to lie down on your back, using as many props, cushions, and blankets as you like, so you can be as comfortable as possible.

If this practice supports you, consider liking the video, subscribing, or sharing it with someone who could use some rest today 💛
